About The Position

Requirements

- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination and dexterity to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate varied terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying products.

- Ability to work around hot surfaces and tools, temperatures ranging from cooler conditions to 90 degrees or above, food odors, cornmeal dust, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and sometimes adverse weather.
- Ability to lift deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and place cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.
Responsibilities
- Direct store activities and contribute to marketing and profitability.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Unload and move deliveries, including lifting and stacking cases of ingredients and supplies.
- Perform assigned maintenance and cleaning tasks, including occasional stair or ladder climbing.
