About The Position

North Star Pizza is seeking a dedicated and efficient Delivery Driver in Princeton, United States. The role ensures customers receive orders accurately and on time while maintaining excellent customer service. The stated wage range is $15–$25 per hour, including hourly wages and tips earned. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes supporting store operations, maintaining cost, inventory, and cash controls, and following company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and a safe, clean driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Strong navigation skills, including reading maps and locating addresses efficiently.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
Basic math skills, including handling cash and making correct change.
Proficiency using computer systems, keyboards, and touch screens for order processing.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to perform the physical activities described, including frequent reaching and hand use, occasional crouching or squatting, and repeated forward bending.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle and deliver orders to customers’ locations within the designated area.
Navigate delivery areas using maps and GPS, and deliver flyers and door hangers.
Load and unload delivery vehicles and handle products carefully.
Receive, process, and verify customer orders, including telephone orders.
Handle cash transactions and provide correct change when required.
Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles, equipment, and the store.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks before and after shifts.
Assist with inventory management, food management, paperwork, and other store controls.
Maintain cost, inventory, cash, and customer relations controls.
Collaborate with team members to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Follow company policies and procedures, traffic laws, safety regulations, and applicable standards.
Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address customer concerns or issues.
Work to schedule and meet expectations for attendance, punctuality, store image, marketing, and profitability.
