About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the equipment and facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math calculations, make correct monetary change, and use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, fluctuating in-store temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Essential functions include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling trays, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and manipulation of various tools and materials, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough and pinching to assemble boxes. Tools and equipment may include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering product by car to customer doors, delivering marketing materials, and requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle. Navigational skills are essential for map reading and locating addresses within the delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing stairs. Driving is a key component, with team members making multiple deliveries per shift. Walking involves travel between the store, vehicle, and customer locations. Climbing may involve navigating five or more flights of stairs. The work conditions for delivery involve exposure to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
