About The Position
This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders. Responsibilities include taking inventory, cleaning, and providing excellent customer service. The position requires strong communication and essential skills for order processing and financial transactions. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, and cramped spaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and reaching. Eye-hand coordination is crucial for various tasks, including dough shaping and box assembly. Team members may use tools such as pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. A key part of the role is delivering products to customers via car, which requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Essential skills for delivery include navigational abilities, map reading, and the capacity to navigate diverse terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying products. Delivery personnel will also be responsible for distributing marketing materials.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- Prepare product
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- Deliver product by car and then to door of customer
- Deliver flyers and doorhangers or any marketing materials
