About The Position

Bruegger's Bagels is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations with a "treat it like you own it" philosophy. The stores operate on a one-shift model, closing at 2 pm, allowing for work-life balance. The General Manager will be responsible for baking, opening the store, ensuring audit readiness, executing orders, providing exceptional customer experiences, and supporting the team. This role involves hands-on operation, including assisting in all positions during rushes, managing breaks, and driving positive customer survey results. Administrative tasks like scheduling, ordering, and inventory can be managed during off-peak hours. The company provides 5 weeks of training to prepare managers for these responsibilities.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting.
• Hands-on operator skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire the team.
• Tried and true strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

• Prior exposure to P&L analysis is valuable.
