Unassigned General Manager
About The Position
Einstein Bros. Bagels is looking for a General Manager to join their team. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the store with a "treat it like you own it" philosophy. The stores operate on a one-shift model, with leaders starting as early as 4 am to bake and open the store. Responsibilities include ensuring the store is audit-ready, executing catering/mobile/in-store orders, and providing an exceptional customer experience. GMs also assist in all positions during rushes, manage breaks, and aim for good customer survey results. Closing and prep for the next day typically takes 30-45 minutes after the doors close at 2 pm. Administrative tasks like scheduling, ordering, and inventory can be managed before opening or after closing. The role includes taking daily deposits to the bank. The company provides 5 weeks of training.
Requirements
- 1-3 years prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting.
- Hands-on operator who can simultaneously motivate and inspire the team.
- Tried and true strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets.
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

- Prior exposure to P&L analysis is valuable.
