About The Position

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking an Unassigned General Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations with a "treat it like you own it" philosophy. Our stores operate on a one-shift model, closing at 2pm, allowing for a strong work-life balance. The General Manager is responsible for ensuring the store is audit-ready, executing catering/mobile/in-store orders, and providing an exceptional customer experience. This role involves hands-on leadership, supporting the team during rushes, and managing administrative tasks efficiently. We provide 5 weeks of training to prepare you for success.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• 1-3 years of prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting.
• Hands-on operator who can simultaneously motivate and inspire the team.
• Tried and true strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets are required.
• Prior exposure to P&L analysis is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of store operations with a "treat it like you own it" philosophy.
• Ensure the store is audit-ready.
• Execute catering, mobile, and in-store orders.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Support the team during breakfast and lunch rushes by floating in all positions as needed.
• Manage breaks and generate good customer survey results.
• Complete closing procedures and prep for the next day.
• Manage daily deposits.
• Recruit quality team members and develop internal talent.
• Achieve food cost goals and labor targets.
