About The Position

Bruegger's Bagels is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations with a "treat it like you own it" philosophy. Our stores operate on a one-shift model, closing at 2pm daily, ensuring a strong work-life balance for our team. The General Manager will be responsible for early morning baking and store opening, ensuring the store is audit-ready, executing catering/mobile/in-store orders, and providing an exceptional customer experience. During peak hours, the GM will support the team in all positions, manage breaks, and drive positive customer survey results. Post-closing tasks include store close-out, next-day preparation, and administrative duties such as scheduling, ordering, and inventory management. The role involves daily bank deposits and offers 5 weeks of comprehensive training.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting.
  • Hands-on operational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proven strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets.
  • Experience in recruiting team members and developing internal talent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
