About The Position

Noah's New York Bagels is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations with a "treat it like you own it" philosophy. Our stores operate on a one-shift model, closing at 2pm daily, allowing for a strong work-life balance. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the store is audit-ready, executing orders, providing an exceptional customer experience, and supporting the team. This role involves hands-on operations, including baking, opening the store, managing rushes, and completing closing procedures and administrative tasks. The company provides 5 weeks of training to prepare successful candidates for this challenging and rewarding role.

Requirements

1-3 years of prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting.
Hands-on operator who can simultaneously motivate and inspire the team.
Tried and true strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets.
Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Prior exposure to P&L analysis is valuable.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of store operations with a "treat it like you own it" philosophy.
Manage the first bake and opening procedures starting as early as 4am.
Ensure the store is audit ready.
Execute catering, mobile, and in-store orders.
Provide an exceptional customer experience.
Support and motivate the team.
Assist in all positions during breakfast and lunch rushes.
Manage customer breaks.
Generate good customer survey results.
Complete closing procedures and prep for the next day (typically 30-45 minutes after closing at 2pm).
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, ordering, and inventory.
Take daily deposits to the bank.
Recruit quality team members.
Develop internal talent.
