About The Position

The General Manager leads a mechanical contracting branch, overseeing mechanical construction and service operations, profit and loss, and a workforce of more than 50 employees. The role requires expertise in construction contracts and the full construction life cycle, along with the ability to network and develop business to maintain a steady flow of work.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of mechanical construction experience with a commercial mechanical subcontractor, in a role such as Branch Manager, Project Manager, Preconstruction Manager, or similar.
• Seasoned knowledge of construction contracts and the construction life cycle.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred in lieu of trade experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete mechanical construction and mechanical service operations for the branch.
• Manage the branch’s profit and loss (P&L).
