This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential skills include accurate math calculations, making correct monetary change, verbal, writing, and telephone communication for order processing, computer/touch screen order entry, and motor coordination for precise movements. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking on various surfaces, lifting and carrying bulk products (up to 60 lbs), pushing trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination, with frequent and/or forceful use of hands, forearms, and wrists for tasks like shaping dough, using a pizza peel, and pinching to assemble boxes. Tools and equipment may include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customer doors, distributing marketing materials, and requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Delivery personnel need navigational skills, the ability to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the delivery vehicle, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Delivery personnel are also exposed to varying weather conditions.
