About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. Key responsibilities include taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and using a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments suited for this role include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting (up to 60 lbs), carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and continuous use of hands, including forceful pinching for box assembly and grasping various items. Tools and equipment used may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role requires delivering products by car to customer doors, distributing marketing materials, and possessing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. This includes navigating adverse terrain such as multi-story buildings and private homes while carrying product. Physical demands during delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing stairs (potentially five or more flights). Driving is a core component, with team members making multiple deliveries per shift. The work conditions involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and driving.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
  • 2 Full years with driver License, no more than 2 points on your driving record
