About The Position
The General Manager performs operational duties including handling equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery areas into storage and work areas, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and completing related paperwork. The role also includes cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The position requires communicating with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone, entering orders using a keyboard or touch screen, and accurately handling monetary transactions. It also involves delivering products by car to customers' doors, distributing flyers and door hangers, navigating to addresses within the delivery area, and carrying products across varied terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
