About The Position

The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients and supplies; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The role involves communicating with customers and coworkers, processing orders in person and by phone, using a computer keyboard or touchscreen, handling payments, and directing activities while meeting quality-control standards.

The position also includes delivering products by car to customers, delivering flyers, doorhangers, and other marketing materials, and navigating the designated delivery area. Delivery work may involve carrying food and beverages, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and climbing stairs.

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately; ability to use a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multistory buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
• Ability to perform the described physical activities, including standing, walking, lifting cases weighing up to 60 pounds, carrying products, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, crouching, and occasional stair or ladder climbing.
• Ability to work around hot surfaces and tools, including ovens at 500 degrees or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
