About The Position
The General Manager is responsible for all operations at the store, including cost, inventory, and cash controls; profitability; and customer relations. The General Manager sets an example for the crew, follows company policies and procedures, and expects the same from team members. The position also involves staffing, paperwork, food management, adherence to company standards, customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to and from work, store cleanliness, and local store marketing. The General Manager must work well with team members and other store management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ample supervisory or management experience within the restaurant or food service industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all activity and operations at the store.
- Manage cost controls, inventory control, cash control, profitability, and customer relations.
- Set an example for the crew and follow company policies and procedures while ensuring the crew does the same.
- Handle staffing and paperwork.
- Manage food and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Provide great customer service.
- Maintain attendance and punctuality, and arrange transportation to and from work.
- Maintain store cleanliness and conduct local store marketing.
- Work well with team members and other store management.
