About The Position

Roto-Rooter is seeking a General Manager in Training who will work across locations throughout the region, motivate sales and service teams, and learn the business in preparation for a General Manager role. Relocation will be required once promoted to General Manager. Roto-Rooter is a plumbing, drain cleaning, and water cleanup services provider operating company-owned branches, independent contractor territories, and franchise operations across North America.

Requirements

• Energetic leader with a strong team orientation.
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of increasing sales through creative and innovative sales techniques.
• Three to five years of General Management experience in a service-related industry is desired; examples include pest control, courier/package delivery, uniform, lawn care, security/protective service, and car rental.
• A minimum Associate's degree in business or a related field is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales team and direct daily activities to ensure goals are met.
• Increase market presence through innovative sales techniques.
• Direct day-to-day branch activity.
• Coach and mentor service professionals to provide quality in-home service.
• Review and analyze branch financials.
• Complete projects as directed by the Region Vice President.
