About The Position

PowerHouse Automotive Group is a rapidly growing dealership organization with locations in South Georgia. We are building a high-performance leadership team focused on operational excellence, employee development, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. We are seeking a General Sales Manager or General Manager who is a proven automotive leader with the ability to drive sales performance, develop strong teams, and execute disciplined dealership operations. This is a key leadership role with significant opportunity for long-term growth as our organization continues to expand. The General Sales Manager / General Manager will be responsible for leading dealership sales operations while collaborating closely with executive leadership to drive profitability, team development, and operational performance. This role will oversee the sales team, finance performance, inventory strategy, and dealership sales processes, while ensuring a culture built on accountability, integrity, and results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of automotive dealership leadership experience
  • Experience as a General Sales Manager, Sales Manager, or General Manager
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Experience managing inventory, desking deals, and working closely with F&I
  • Strong understanding of dealership financial performance and KPIs
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the dealership sales department
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales managers, finance managers, and sales consultants
  • Establish and monitor sales goals, performance metrics, and accountability standards
  • Drive dealership profitability through effective inventory management and pricing strategy
  • Ensure a high-quality customer experience and strong CSI performance
  • Partner with finance and service departments to optimize dealership operations
  • Review performance reports and implement strategies to improve sales productivity
  • Maintain compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer programs, and regulatory requirements
  • Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, performance, and employee development
