About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4, Food to lead dining operations at Fort Hudson Nursing Center, a skilled care and independent living facility serving approximately 280 residents. The facility is located in Fort Edward, New York, along the Hudson River, offering a blend of historic significance, scenic beauty, and small-town charm, with proximity to Lake George and Saratoga Springs.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of previous food service management experience at a director/general manager level, ideally in a healthcare environment
  • A work history demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to work collaboratively
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Working knowledge of Food Management Systems
  • Proficient in computer skills and report management experience
  • Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Responsibilities

  • Have oversight of daily dining operations (decentralized dining, dining room service, adult day care and PACE program)
  • Deliver high-quality food service
  • Achieve company and client financial targets and goals (fee account)
  • Develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships
