About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an experienced, team-oriented Food Service Director level candidate to oversee residential dining, retail operations, and university catering with strong financial management for Dillard University, a prestigious private HBCU in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role involves delivering high-quality food service, achieving financial targets, developing client and customer relationships, creating strategic plans, fostering a positive environment, and ensuring Sodexo standards are met.

Requirements

  • Work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Culinary production experience
  • Strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional communication skills
  • Passion for a high level of customer service
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Working knowledge of Food Management Systems
  • Proficient in computer skills and report management experience
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Management Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Functional Experience
