About The Position

Creating solutions for everything from dining and nutrition to facilities maintenance and rehabilitative services, Sodexo partners with government agencies and military organizations to improve people’s quality of life and make a positive impact. Sodexo is currently seeking a General Manager 4- Food to join our Government Services team at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. The General Manager will report directly to the District Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of all operations for this medium volume Mess Hall.

Requirements

  • Has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills
  • Has a strong background in food safety and sanitation compliance
  • Has history and knowledge of working in a Union environment
  • Has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills and has a passion for a high level of customer service
  • Can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
