About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4, Food to lead dining operations at Fort Hudson Nursing Center, a skilled care and independent living facility serving approximately 280 residents. The facility is located in Fort Edward, New York, along the Hudson River. The role involves overseeing daily dining operations, including decentralized dining, dining room service, and programs for adult day care and PACE. The General Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality food service, achieving financial targets, developing client and customer relationships, creating strategic plans, fostering a positive environment, and ensuring adherence to Sodexo Standards.

Requirements

Five or more years of previous food service management experience at a director/general manager level, ideally in a healthcare environment
Work history demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to work collaboratively
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Professional communication skills
Passion for a high level of customer service
Ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Working knowledge of Food Management Systems
Proficient in computer skills and report management experience
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Responsibilities
