About The Position

Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking a General Manager/Chef Manager to support an Oil and Gas client in Tioga, ND. This role is responsible for directing all contract management service operations and client relations of the food service operation, which includes a cafe, micro-market, and catering. Sodexo provides diverse food services and integrated facilities management, aiming to create a safe, vibrant, and eco-friendly workplace for corporate service partners.

Requirements

A culinary background
Strong hospitality, leadership, and communication skills
The ability to manage various operational tasks and be hands-on, especially when it comes to food production and quality control
Strong adaptability skills to an everchanging and dynamic environment
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of Management Experience
Minimum 2 years of Functional Experience

Nice To Haves

Experience in cafeteria or restaurant dining

Responsibilities

Menu planning and food management (ordering, preparation, inventory, and storage)
Cost control, including food and labor costs
Team management of 4 employees, with oversight on payroll and compliance with safety standards (like HACCP)
Client engagement and ensuring client satisfaction
Hands on cooking in the cafe
Drive monthly and quarterly business reviews with Sodexo and Client Stakeholders
