About The Position

Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking a General Manager/Chef Manager to support an Oil and Gas client in Tioga, ND. The General Manager/Chef Manager will be responsible for directing all contract management service operations and client relations of the food service operation including cafe, micro-market, and catering. Requirements

  • A culinary background, ideally with experience in cafeteria or restaurant dining.
  • Strong hospitality, leadership, and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage various operational tasks and be hands-on, especially when it comes to food production and quality control.
  • Strong adaptability skills to an everchanging and dynamic environment.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years Minimum Management Experience
  • 2 years Minimum Functional Experience

Responsibilities

  • Menu planning and food management (ordering, preparation, inventory, and storage).
  • Cost control, including food and labor costs.
  • Team management of 4 employees, with oversight on payroll and compliance with safety standards (like HACCP).
  • Client engagement and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Hands on cooking in the cafe.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly business reviews with Sodexo and Client Stakeholders.
