About The Position

Sodexo Corporate Services is hiring a General Manager 3 for its JMFE account in Jacksonville, FL. This hands-on role oversees daily food operations for a full-service café, including cooking, budgeting, training, strategic planning, catering, and HR duties. The GM will supervise up to 9 hourly staff and one culinary supervisor while ensuring high standards in culinary presentation and client engagement. Ideal candidates will have a strong culinary background, solid organizational and communication skills, and strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financials and implement action plans. A driven, self-starter attitude is essential for success in this role! Requirements

  • Strong culinary background with hands-on experience as a Chef in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and manage teams while maintaining focus on food quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, interacting daily with corporate executives and clients.
  • Financially astute, with expertise in managing budgets and controlling operational costs.
  • Adaptable and innovative, able to lead teams through change while promoting a positive work environment.
  • Strong communication skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration with staff and clients.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years minimum management experience
  • 3 years minimum functional experience

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily food operations, maintaining quality and safety standards.
