About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 2 Multi-Service of Food and Environmental Services. The successful candidate will oversee a team of salaried managers and frontline associates. The role is responsible for driving client satisfaction by providing stellar customer service through effective communication with all levels of hospital staff and follow-through with action items that impact both client and patient satisfaction. The candidate will possess knowledge of finances, client relations, and training.

Requirements

  • Exceptional client service mentality and executive presence
  • COVID-19, Flu, and TB vaccinations
  • A 17-panel drug test
  • An FBI background check
  • 3-5 years previous culinary or housekeeping director level experience preferably in a hospital environment
  • Experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines
  • Proficient with computers and other technology
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years minimum management experience
  • 5 years minimum functional experience

  • Expert in building and maintaining strong customer / client relationships
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion

Responsibilities

  • Driving client and patient satisfaction scores
  • Providing a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
  • Working closely with all departments
  • Supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce
  • Maintaining and inspecting transport equipment, as well as related logistics, documentation and reporting
  • Creating a positive patient experience by setting the tone and culture of patient expectations, including the provision of concierge transport services, through a compassionate bedside manner
