About The Position

The General Maintenance Engineer maintains the hotel’s physical safety and functionality while supporting memorable guest experiences. The role covers guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas at Hilton Americas Houston. The engineer responds to guest service requests and team member work orders, performs repairs across multiple trades, conducts preventive maintenance inspections, and documents maintenance work and issues needing further attention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Respond promptly to guest calls and team member work orders.
• Perform repairs and maintenance involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and masonry.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Document completed inspections and repairs, and flag issues requiring further attention.
