About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking two experienced General Ledger Analysts to support financial institution conversion and implementation projects. The role covers general ledger operations, account reconciliation, balancing, journal entry preparation, testing support, and conversion validation. Analysts will work with operations, accounting, technology, and implementation teams to help ensure financial accuracy and successful project delivery on banking transformation initiatives. This is a contract-to-hire position described as fully remote, with travel indicated in the posting. The position is based out of Remote, OR. The pay range is $35.00–$45.00 per hour; individual compensation depends on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors. The position is anticipated to close on November 6, 2026. Requirements

Strong accounting foundation.
Experience working within banking environments.
Previous core banking conversion experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced implementation environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines.
Intermediate-level experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with one or more Jack Henry core banking platforms: SilverLake (preferred), CIF 20/20 (secondary preference), Core Director (tertiary preference), or Symitar.
Previous bank merger or acquisition integration experience.
Experience supporting system implementations, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and client readiness activities.
Experience participating in go-live and post-conversion support efforts.

Responsibilities

Perform daily, monthly, and period-end General Ledger operational activities.
Research and resolve General Ledger discrepancies, balancing issues, and unreconciled items.
Prepare, validate, and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
Complete GL account reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy and financial integrity.
Analyze transactional activity and investigate out-of-balance conditions.
Support financial data validation and reconciliation during system implementations and conversions.
Participate in testing activities, including test planning, execution, defect identification, and validation of financial processes.
Assist with conversion planning, implementation, and post-conversion stabilization activities.
Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, and banking operations teams to identify and resolve accounting-related issues.
Document processes, testing results, reconciliation findings, and conversion outcomes.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations.
Provide subject matter expertise for General Ledger processes throughout implementation and conversion projects.
