About The Position

This position involves general labor tasks in a manufacturing environment. The role requires adherence to safety policies and procedures, and may involve various duties as assigned. The description of duties is general and not exhaustive.

Requirements

• Attention to detail
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks
• Ability to work with others as well as independently
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Understand applicable Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures in the workplace
• Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor/manager and/or a JHSC member immediately
• Report injuries, accidents, illnesses, near misses, property damage to your supervisor/manager and/or a JHSC member immediately
• You are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in a manufacturing environment (i.e., safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, high visibility vests, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read a blueprint is an asset

• Use and maintenance of hand tools
• Operation of hoists
• Loading and unloading of material

• Following safety policies and procedures
