General Laborer – Roadway Sign Manufacturing

About The Position

Creative Management Technology, Inc. is hiring a dependable General Laborer to support its roadway sign manufacturing shop. The role involves hands-on fabrication and preparation of traffic and highway signs, with an emphasis on detail, safety, and willingness to learn. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with evenings and weekends included; specific hours are TBD. Work is located across Sanford, Brevard, Volusia, and Flagler Counties. The company offers paid on-the-job training and opportunities to grow into skilled sign fabricator roles.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools in a shop environment.
Ability to read a tape measure and follow simple layouts or work orders.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and work on one's feet for long periods.
Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
Ability to follow directions and work safely around equipment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, construction, or maintenance work.

Responsibilities

Cut, prepare, drill, and assemble aluminum sign blanks, posts, and hardware.
Clean and prepare sign surfaces before reflective sheeting is applied.
Apply reflective sheeting, film, and lettering and ensure signs meet quality standards.
Load, unload, stage, and stack finished signs, posts, and materials.
Use basic hand and power tools under supervision.
Keep shop floors, workstations, and tools clean, organized, and safe.
Drive signs, materials, or equipment to job sites or other locations as needed.
Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
