About The Position
The General Laborer II assists with meeting production needs by providing general support. The role involves operating and observing production machinery, performing and documenting product quality testing, packaging finished goods, and preparing materials for shipment. The laborer also uses a forklift to move manufactured materials and performs housekeeping and facilities maintenance. The position requires following standard procedures and safe work practices, and reporting production malfunctions or safety concerns to supervision.
Requirements
- One year of manufacturing experience is preferred, or willingness to be trained.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, and hear.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Follow standard procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Operate and observe machinery used in the production process.
- Detect and notify supervision of production malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Perform and document quality testing on products.
- Use provided tools appropriately.
- Package finished goods according to standard procedures.
- Pick, stage, and prepare goods for shipment.
- Use a forklift to lift and transfer manufactured materials between work and storage areas.
- Perform housekeeping, sweeping, and other facilities maintenance.
- Follow safe work procedures and practices.
