About The Position

Conagra Brands is hiring a seasonal General Laborer Fresh Pack to help produce Birds Eye products at its manufacturing facility in Darien, Wisconsin. The role works a night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, 12 hours per day, and reports to a Team Lead Production. Housing is available. The listed hourly rate is $12.40 plus a $0.50 shift differential.

The laborer follows food handling, packaging, safety, good manufacturing, HACCP, bloodborne pathogen control, and allergen control practices. Duties include visually inspecting products and ingredients for blemishes, flaws, extraneous vegetable materials, or discoloration; reporting serious deviations or equipment malfunctions by stopping production; and assisting operators with production startup, changeovers, and shutdowns. Reliable, consistent attendance and attention to duties are expected.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Follow food handling and packaging practices.
• Follow safe working practices and good manufacturing practices.
• Follow HACCP practices.
• Visually inspect products and ingredients for blemishes, flaws, extraneous vegetable materials, or discolored units.
• Stop production and report serious deviations from requirements or line equipment malfunctions.
• Assist operators with production startup, changeovers, and shutdowns.
• Follow bloodborne pathogen control and allergen control practices.
• Work as part of a production team and maintain reliable, consistent attendance and attention to duties.
