About The Position

The General Labor position supports production operations by maintaining sanitation, food safety, and a safe working environment. The role involves sorting non-conforming product according to customer specifications and management instructions, filling product containers without compromising product quality, and sorting food-grade and non-food-grade materials into the correct containers. Employees must understand fill weights and adjust fills as directed, monitor partially filled containers for quality issues and watch for jar breaks, and use a pounding tool to compact product without damaging it. During downtime, the employee may assist with rework or floor cleaning. Additional tasks may be assigned as business needs require.

This is a permanent, full-time position on the second shift in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The current union-contract pay rate is $20.85 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of sanitation, food safety, and a safe working environment.

• Use the pounding tool to compact product without damaging it or causing jar breaks.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs.
