About The Position

TreeHouse Foods is hiring a General Labor employee for its Green Bay, Wisconsin location. This permanent, full-time production operations position is on the second shift. The current union-contract pay rate is $20.85 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential.

The role supports food production by maintaining sanitation, food safety, and a safe working environment. The employee sorts and fills product according to customer specifications, monitors product quality and fill weights, and assists with rework or floor cleaning during downtime. Additional duties may be assigned as business needs require.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of sanitation, food safety, and a safe working environment.
• Sort out non-conforming product accurately according to customer specifications and management instructions.
• Fill product containers according to customer specifications without compromising product quality.
• Assist with rework or floor cleaning during downtime.
• Sort food-grade and non-food-grade materials into the correct containers.
• Understand correct fill weights and adjust filling as instructed by management or the weight check operator.
• Watch for quality issues in partially filled containers and for jar breaks.
• Use the pounding tool to compact product without damaging it or causing jar breaks.
