About The Position
A Wire Harness Builder assembles electrical wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of basic math preferred
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Assemble wire harnesses using hand tools and specialized equipment
- Route and secure wires with ties, clamps & sleeves
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Follow safety procedures and company quality standards
- Report defects, shortages, or production issues to supervisors
