About The Position

SPAR is hiring dependable, hardworking laborers for overnight store remodels who are willing to travel for extended periods. The role involves working inside home improvement retail stores assembling and handling heavy steel and pallet racking, as part of a team executing remodels for major home improvement retailers. Travel is throughout Midwest and East Coast states, and job sites may require overnight stays.

The position pays $18 per hour and offers ongoing, long-term project work. SPAR covers travel time, hotel accommodation on a double-occupancy basis, mileage reimbursement, meal per diem, tolls, and approved expenses. Requirements

• Reliable vehicle for regional travel and a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and follow instructions accurately.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift or move objects weighing 50 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pallet racking, cantilever racking, and shelving.
• Anchor assembled products according to specifications.
• Operate a scissor lift during assembly as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and obstruction-free work area.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management when not installing.
• Travel to job sites requiring overnight stays.
