About The Position

Perform general production functions, including clean-up tasks, can sorting, relieving other operations, and completing necessary paperwork for proper documentation while following all safety and quality procedures. The role may include operating semi-automatic equipment and performing other job-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and use decimals and fractions.
• Good English speaking and writing skills.
• Experience using computers, copiers, calculators, scanners, and printers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat, and stand for extended periods while running machinery for up to 12 hours.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine operator functions, including feeding materials into and operating semi-automatic equipment.
• Operate semi-automatic palletizing equipment to stack finished product on pallets.
• Perform clean-up tasks and part sorting, and fill in for operators when needed.
• Train to become a certified Forklift Driver, Palletizer, and Packaging Operator.
• Read blueprints and drawings, handbook specifications, equipment manuals, and part lists.
• Complete necessary paperwork for proper documentation while following safety and quality procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
