About The Position

Hirequest NW is hiring General Labor Crew Members for demolition and restoration jobs across the Vancouver/Portland metro. The work includes tearing out, hauling off, and cleaning up job sites. Work is available steadily for people who show up, with full-time and temp-to-hire openings. On-the-job training is provided, and prior experience is not required. The role offers an opportunity to advance into skilled restoration and construction roles. Pay is $20–$22 per hour depending on assignment, with daily and weekly pay options. Applicants should be able to perform repetitive heavy lifting, remain on their feet throughout the shift, work outdoors in wet, dusty, or noisy conditions, and travel reliably to job sites. Steel-toe boots are required; the company can help provide other PPE.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Demolition, construction, or restoration experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Break up and haul out concrete slabs, sidewalks, and footings using jackhammers, sledges, and wheelbarrows.
Demolish interior spaces, removing drywall, flooring, cabinets, and fixtures down to the studs.
Assist the concrete-cutting crew by managing water supply, controlling slurry and dust, and clearing cut sections.
Move product, furniture, materials, debris, and equipment; load and unload trucks.
Remove debris, sweep, bag, and stage materials during restoration clean-up so sites are safe and ready for the next step.
