About The Position

Basalite Building Products, LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete masonry products in the Western United States and is a member of the Pacific Coast Building Products Family of Companies. The General Labor, Concrete position supports Secondary Operations across production under the supervision of the Secondary Operations Supervisor. The role operates and adjusts equipment, feeds production lines, checks material quality, and maintains a clean work area while demonstrating the company’s Core Values. Other related duties may be assigned. This is a regular, full-time position paying $20.00–$21.50 per hour, depending on experience. Open shift availability is required, including availability for shift rotations and weekends. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening; a background check and/or credit check may also be required depending on the position.

Requirements

Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
On-the-job training experience required to perform the duties.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to operate a splitter, cuber, forklift, and other equipment required for the duties.
Predictable and regular attendance and availability for shift rotations, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
Adjust equipment for the product being produced.
Feed production lines.
Check material for proper quality.
Clean the work area.
Attend safety meetings and follow company and governmental safety rules.
Report and help correct hazardous conditions.
Maintain predictable and regular attendance and be available for shift rotations, including weekends.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the company or its designated representatives.
