About The Position

AJM Packaging Corporation is hiring entry-level General Labor and Warehouse employees for its fast-paced manufacturing environment in Folkston, Georgia. Open positions include Packers, Stackers, Machine Tenders, Roll Setters, Balers, Utility, Warehouse, and Dock professionals. The role offers paid training and advancement opportunities. Full-time schedules are available on first, second, and third shifts, totaling 40 hours per week. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with a first review and a raise of up to $1 after 90 days. Employees also receive an additional $0.50 per hour for every person they refer who is hired, with no limit on referrals.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous factory or manufacturing experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Check the condition and quality of finished products and remove products that do not meet AJM quality standards.
• Maintain accurate product counts while packing or bagging and keep pace with varying production speeds and levels.
• Support start-up operations by stripping, preparing, setting, and changing rolls.
• Gather finished product from machines and box, bag, or package it as required.
• Stack cases in an orderly manner to secure them and prevent shifting or moving.
• Complete other duties deemed necessary by the Supervisor.
