About The Position

AJM Packaging Corporation is hiring entry-level General Labor and Warehouse employees for its fast-paced manufacturing environment in Joplin, Missouri. Current openings include Packers, Stackers, Machine Tenders, Roll Setters, Balers, Utility, Warehouse, and Dock professionals. The company offers paid training and advancement opportunities. Employees inspect and package finished products, assist with production start-ups and roll changes, and perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous factory or manufacturing experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Check the condition and quality of finished products and remove items that do not meet AJM quality standards.
• Maintain accurate product counts while packing or bagging and keep pace with varying production speeds and levels.
• Support start-up operations by stripping, preparing, setting, and changing rolls.
• Gather finished products from machines and box, bag, or package them as required.
• Stack cases in an orderly manner to secure them and prevent shifting or moving.
• Complete other duties deemed necessary by the Supervisor.
