About The Position

DocStar Medical Partners is seeking an MD for a General/Invasive Cardiology position at a Medical Center in Michigan. This is a 4-month assignment with the possibility of extension, starting on 9/1/2026 and ending on 12/31/2026. The provider will work 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with call responsibilities two weeks per month, maintaining a 1:3 call expectation. The patient volume is 50-70 patients per day, shared among 2-3 providers. Responsibilities include outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, reading imaging/testing, and performing procedures based on the physician's experience, such as diagnostic caths, TEEs, and Cardioversions. The role does not involve supervising an APP. The EMR system used is EPIC/Dragon. A Michigan license and IMLC are required, along with ACLS and BLS certifications. Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology is necessary. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required, with specific procedural experience including 50 cases and 25 TEEs within the last 12 months.
