Richmond Hospital is seeking a part-time General Internal Medicine specialist to provide services to a geriatric population in a team-based model with support from Geriatrics and Geri Psychiatry on a dedicated Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) unit. The successful applicant will become a member of the Department of Internal Medicine and will be required to participate in a call rota. The unit is a 32-bed unit staffed by 2 internists and an NP. Work includes ward rounds, new admissions, allied health care rounds, and liaising with specialists. Scheduled 10-hour shifts (0700-1700 or 0800-1800) are typically scheduled 7 days at a time, Monday-Sunday (with flexibility). Some expected home/night call is compensated separately on MOCAP.
