About The Position

The General Helper position involves performing various tasks on the production line to ensure efficient and accurate product handling and processing. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The helper will be responsible for duties such as panning, tracking, bagging, and assisting with product movement, all while adhering to company training and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Be able to push or pull up to 200 pounds on wheeled equipment.
• Be able to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, reaching.
• Be able to stand for majority of shift.
• Be able to read/write English.
• Be able to work in high ambient temperatures.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Six (6) months food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform panning duties in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete tracking paperwork accurately.
• Comply with SQF requirements.
• Perform bagging of product in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform tracking of product to eliminate out of specification product.
• Assist production line with panning, racking and moving product.
• Assist packaging line with tracking, bagging and labeling product.
• Perform pan dumping in a timely manner without smashing product.
• Follow all company provided training guidelines.
