General Graphic Engineer

Visual Concepts, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., is seeking a General Graphic Engineer to join its Development Team in Shanghai. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in designing and writing graphics related code, high proficiency in C/C++, and familiarity with at least one graphic API in Vulkan/DirectX/Metal. The role involves developing video games on mobile platforms, implementing new visual features, diagnosing and fixing graphics-related problems, and discovering opportunities for improvement in the rendering engine. The candidate should have a passion for video game development and be a good communicator with the art and design team.

• Developing video game on mobile platform
• Implementing new visual features to deliver epic game performance
• Diagnosing and fixing problems related to graphics
• Discover opportunities on rendering engine for improvement

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in designing and writing graphics related code
• High proficiency in C/C++
• Familiar with at least one graphic APIs in Vulkan/DirectX/Metal
• Experience with HLSL / GLSL shader development
• Understanding of 3D graphics, associated math and rendering algorithms
• Systematic understanding of computer graphics, familiar with real-time graphics rendering performance optimization
• Understanding the architecture of popular GPU, and be able to optimize GPU performance is a plus
• Good communicator with art and designer team, understand the real needs of art team and provide solutions from a technical perspective
• Passion for videogames development
