About the position
We are seeking a General Graphic Engineer to join our Development Team at our Shanghai-based studio. As a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., Visual Concepts is widely recognized as one of the top video game studios in the world. In this role, you will be responsible for developing video games on mobile platforms, implementing new visual features, diagnosing and fixing graphics-related issues, and identifying opportunities for improvement in the rendering engine. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, proficiency in C/C++, familiarity with graphic APIs such as Vulkan/DirectX/Metal, and experience with HLSL/GLSL shader development.
Responsibilities
- Developing video games on mobile platforms
- Implementing new visual features to enhance game performance
- Diagnosing and resolving graphics-related issues
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in rendering engine
- Designing and writing graphics-related code
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with graphic APIs such as Vulkan, DirectX, and Metal
- Experience with HLSL/GLSL shader development
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in designing and writing graphics related code
- High proficiency in C/C++
- Familiar with at least one graphic APIs in Vulkan/DirectX/Metal
- Experience with HLSL / GLSL shader development
