The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is a licensed professional provider who functions in collaboration with an attending physician in a variety of practice settings at YNHHS. Provides exceptional direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care to the highest standards of the organization as part of a multidisciplinary team. Cultivates a patient centric environment which focuses on the whole individual inclusive of physical, psychosocial, spiritual and functional needs of the patient, family, and significant others. Serves as the focal professional for the continuity of care in patient care within scope of practice standards, as well as specialty specific standards to address and resolve problems that may arise. About the role: Join a busy General Gastroenterology (GI) ambulatory practice in New Haven as an APRN or PA Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient setting 4-day work week offering strong work-life balance Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends required No nights, holidays, or on-call responsibilities Open to new graduates with a strong interest in GI care Comprehensive onboarding and orientation program to support a smooth transition into practice Work alongside a supportive, team-oriented group of providers and staff Ideal for a motivated clinician passionate about ambulatory gastroenterology and delivering excellent patient care
