Virtual Gastroenterology APP
About The Position
This is a full-time Virtual Gastroenterology APP position within the GCMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology department at the Kenilworth location. The role involves 36 patient-facing hours per week with varying shifts, including potential Saturday mornings. It is an outpatient-only role with no nights or weekends required, focusing on providing adult gastroenterology care. The practice environment includes a supportive team of physicians and APPs, with opportunities for collaboration and professional development. The position also includes one inpatient holiday per year and approximately 14 patients per day, with training and support provided for PEG tube exchanges.
Requirements
- Certified Physician Assistant or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
- North Carolina licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 2 years of APP experience required (no new grads)
- Interest in general gastroenterology; subspecialty interests welcomed
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient gastroenterology care to adult patients
