About The Position

We are committed to cultivating the next generation of skilled lineworkers through mentorship, training, and real-world experience in the field. We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to lead and coordinate multiple crews across overhead transmission and distribution projects. This role involves overseeing daily field operations, ensuring safe execution, and driving production to meet project schedules and quality standards.

Requirements

15 years of experience in overhead transmission and/or distribution
5+ years of prior experience as a General Foreman required
Strong leadership and crew management skills
Deep understanding of utility construction and safety standards (OSHA, NESC)
Ability to read prints, plans, and specifications
CDL preferred (or ability to obtain)
Willingness to travel as needed

Nice To Haves

Experience managing multiple crews or large-scale projects
Storm restoration experience
Background working with utilities, co-ops, or EPC contractors
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across multiple crews and job sites
Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project timelines
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
Conduct job briefings, tailboards, and maintain a strong safety enforcement culture
Lead and mentor Foremen and crew members with clear direction and accountability
Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality of work
Identify and resolve field issues proactively to maintain production
Communicate effectively with Superintendents and Project Managers
Ensure accurate reporting of work completed, time, resources, and documentation
