About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for finance and accounting professionals experienced in reviewing financial documents, spreadsheets, slide decks, accounting analyses, reporting materials, reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and presentation-ready business artifacts for accuracy, rigor, clarity, and domain quality. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on finance and accounting artifact review, rubric-based evaluation, document and spreadsheet assessment, slide deck quality review, structured feedback, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will evaluate AI-generated work products and apply subject-matter expertise to identify factual, analytical, aesthetic, and presentation issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, audit support, financial analysis, or related work.
  • Native or professional fluency in English.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs.
  • Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree, MBA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, CFA, or comparable finance/accounting credential.
  • Experience creating or reviewing financial statements, reconciliations, management reports, budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, audit schedules, or finance presentations.
  • Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting standards, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and spreadsheet-based financial analysis.
  • Experience reviewing presentation decks for clarity, polish, and business-facing communication quality.
  • Strong ability to evaluate both financial substance and visual/presentation quality.

Responsibilities

  • Finance & Accounting Artifact Review: Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving finance, accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Review financial materials for accuracy, completeness, rigor, clarity, and practical relevance.
  • Assess whether accounting and finance conclusions are supported by appropriate calculations, assumptions, evidence, and analysis.
  • Identify inaccurate assumptions, weak financial logic, unclear documentation, incomplete analysis, or poor linkage between data and recommendations.
  • Accounting & Financial Analysis Evaluation: Review materials involving financial statements, management reports, journal entry support, reconciliations, budget files, forecast models, and variance analysis.
  • Evaluate calculations, classifications, accounting treatment, financial presentation, and reporting consistency.
  • Assess spreadsheets, summaries, and executive-facing finance materials for usability and professional quality.
  • Provide clear written feedback that improves finance and accounting artifact quality.
  • Spreadsheet, Document & Presentation Quality Review: Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, calculations, formatting, usability, and consistency.
  • Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality.
  • Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files.
  • Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
