About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for investment analysis, valuation, and credit professionals experienced in reviewing financial documents, spreadsheets, slide decks, investment memos, valuation models, credit analyses, financial forecasts, and presentation-ready finance artifacts for accuracy, rigor, clarity, and domain quality. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on investment analysis artifact review, valuation and credit evaluation, rubric-based assessment, spreadsheet and slide deck quality review, structured feedback, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will evaluate AI-generated work products and apply subject-matter expertise to identify factual, analytical, aesthetic, and presentation issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in investment analysis, valuation, credit analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, asset management, equity research, credit research, lending, or related finance work.
  • Native or professional fluency in English.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs.
  • Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree, MBA, CFA, CPA, FRM, or comparable finance-related credential.
  • Experience creating or reviewing valuation models, investment memos, credit memos, financial models, market research decks, transaction materials, or management presentations.
  • Familiarity with DCF models, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, LBO analysis, credit underwriting, covenant analysis, debt sizing, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Experience reviewing presentation decks for clarity, polish, and business-facing communication quality.
  • Strong ability to evaluate both financial substance and visual/presentation quality.

Responsibilities

  • Investment Analysis Artifact Review: Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving investment analysis, market research, company analysis, transaction materials, investment memos, and financial summaries. Review financial reasoning for accuracy, completeness, rigor, and practical relevance. Assess whether investment conclusions are supported by appropriate assumptions, evidence, and analysis. Identify weak logic, unsupported recommendations, unclear investment theses, incomplete risk discussion, or poor linkage between financial data and conclusions.
  • Valuation & Credit Review: Review valuation materials involving DCF analysis, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis, and financial forecasting. Evaluate credit-related materials involving borrower analysis, debt capacity, covenant review, cash flow assessment, repayment risk, collateral analysis, and credit memos. Assess whether spreadsheets and models are logically structured, internally consistent, and professionally presented. Identify inaccurate calculations, flawed assumptions, weak model structure, or incomplete valuation and credit reasoning.
  • Spreadsheet, Document & Presentation Quality Review: Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, calculations, formatting, usability, and consistency. Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality. Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files. Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
